Team Fortress 2 Is Finally Getting a Big Update 16 Years After Its Release

Even though Team Fortress 2 was released more than a decade ago, it is still loved and being played by many. But there was no major update in sight for many many years and some people started to think Team Fortress 2 was getting close to the end of its life, and devs decided to release a major update all of a sudden!
Did they announce an Update After 16 Years? How?
The game’s long-forgotten website came to life, posting a new blog post called “Attention, Steam Workshop Creators!”. It says that Team Fortress 2 is going to get a full-size update this year, including “items, maps, taunts, unusual effects, war paints, and who knows what else?!”.

Make sure to get your submissions into the Steam Workshop by May 1st, so they can be considered for this as-yet-unnamed, un-themed, but still very exciting summer-situated (but not summer-themed) (unless you wanted to develop summer-themed stuff) update.
Now that Team Fortress 2 is getting a huge update, players are already started getting excited. This is such a big surprise for the game’s almost dead community since all the players only heard about issues about it over the last few years.
